STAMP COST INCREASED

"Australia Post will increase the costs of postage stamps to 60 cents, with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) not objecting to the increase."

So if you haven't realised yet, stamps have gone up to 60 cents which is really annoying considering that they pretty recently (within the last year) raised it from 50 cents to 55 cents.



AND as an avid letter writer, this is VERY annoying. You are only allowed to use 55 cent for a "Seasonal greeting card enclosed in a sealed envelope and endorsed CARD ONLY - only available during November and December".

And did you know that there were 58 cent stamps?? Used for "Exceptionally small letters that are paid for by a postage meter or via the use of a Postage Paid imprint".

My sister actually received a letter from her friend which was stamped with a 50 cent stamp and yet was allowed to be posted. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm...
